About Beachcomber
Bob Heilman's Beachcomber Restaurant is a spot where diners can be sure of an excellent dining experience whenever they are there.......... it's just been the custom at this spot since 1948. The service is always attentive, as most of the waitstaff has many years experience in the business and many have been at Bob's for years.
The ambiance of the dining areas, as can be seen by our photos, is top drawer without being stuffy whether the bright north dining room is chosen, or one of the wood paneled rooms is preferred. White linen table cloths and napkins are just part of the classy style one receives while dining at the Beachcomber.
Surprisingly, we found the menu to be rather reasonably priced for the quality of dining and location of the restaurant, and the entree selections were superb. Check the menu on the link and decide for yourself.
Bob offers a spectacular wine list with more than 20,000 bottles that is sure to find an accommodation for any meal from his menu. The Beachcomber also features "Gourmet-To-Go," a take-out service that has pleased folks for years. Check the website, it's worth a look.

My friends and I come to Bob Heilman's Beachcomber often for lunch. The restaurant has been here for years, and is a local favorite of many people in the area. We always chose to eat in the area with all the windows, high ceilings, and nautical decorations - it's such a pleasurable setting. Most of us have husbands working during the day, so this is a comfortable place to get together once a week or so. There are always delicious specials on the lunch menu and they change frequently. Plus, they always have an excellent homemade soup with the specials. Our server recently has been a young Russian girl who always greets us warmly and provides excellent service for us. It's truly a wonderful spot that has maintained it's excellent reputation over the years.
