The Mystic Fish Seafood Grill & Bar, opened in May of 2001, is an upscale restaurant with a terrific menu that is sure to satisfy even the most discerning diner. The restaurant, as can be seen in photos we've provided for our viewers, and those to be seen on their website, is decorated in a manner to give an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere for either lunch or dinner.
In reviewing the menu (check it out on the link above), it can be seen that there is quite a bit of creative imagination in both appetizers and entrées. Laura Reiley, the world renowned Food Critic of the St. Petersburg Times, made some favorable observations regarding Mystic Fish in her article of December 20, 2008. Her article may be viewed by clicking HERE. It should be noted that the owners of Mystic Fish Seafood Grill & Bar also own the E & E. Stake Out Grill in Belleair Bluffs and Guppie's on the Beach Grill & Bar in Indian Rocks Beach. They have many years experience in the restaurant business, a factor which no doubt contributes to the excellence represented in the entire presentation of ambiance and food quality at this restaurant.
We at DineandFind.com, in researching the internet for reviews, found mostly 4 and 5 star ratings that reinforced our analysis of this eating establishment. If you've had the Mystic Fish experience, your review would be welcome reading by both management and those with curious palates who are confused about where to go for dinner or lunch.
Reservations are recommended - online from their website, or via phone. Catchy background music on their website.
I got together with a bunch of girlfriends and we chose Mystic Fish to have our dinner. It was a Saturday night and we arrived at our reserved time, were pleasantly greeted and dispatched to our table in short order. Naturally as girlfriends are wont to do we were so busy catching up it took several minutes before we could even decide what to have. The waiter was extremely patient despite having to come back 3 times to take our order. Each menu item sounded so good. I had 3 appetizers rather than an entree. There were several special requests (dietary restrictions)in our party and the waiter was great. He gave us what we wanted without missing a beat. We left fat and happy. In relating the experience to my boyfriend he was so impressed with what I had to say that we decided to go the next night and took another friend with us. Again, it was a delicious meal. Again, the waiter Greg was great, cheerful and indulgent, which made us feel extremely welcome. We ordered a different assortment of dishes and each was tasty, wonderfully presented and fairly priced. The ambiance in this restaurant is just right. The decor is clever. It is a popular place that buzzes but that does not impede conversation. | By : Claudia - Mar/01/2010
